The stranding unit is used to strand cords and conductors and winding them in the same time on reels. Operating programme of the stranding unit, along with the calibrator settings, allows production of strands with different lengths of lays.
As depends on a technological cycle the user may determine the lengths of conductors stranded and wound on the reel. Conductors and cables are delivered in motor-powered pay-off units where a torque is adjusted by use of a band-brake.
