The take-up unit is used to work in extruding lines in cooperation with a cutter to produce pipes, seals, rollers, strip etc. from different thermoplastics. It allows sorting already cut pieces of finished products.
The take-up unit consists of motor-powered transmission belt spread between two guiding rolls, one of which is motor-powered.
Sorting is performed by a pneumatic blower controlled by a laser sensor. Pipes blown out from the belt are collected in a container which is opened when a required amount of pipes are reached.
The take-up unit can be optionally provided with a side transporter integrated with the unit and allowing a transverse transport of particular parts of sorter pipes.
